2010 was a very busy year for Andrew with the three key charities that he supports. Just some of the activities were:
On 3 September, Andrew delivered the keynote presentation at the Australian Himalayan Foundation annual Sydney fundraising dinner. He was also the keynote presenter at a fund raising dinner for the Foundation on 25 March this year.
On 22 October, Andrew was the ‘on-site mountain man’ at the Urban Descent day, where more than 120 brave souls abseiled from the roof of Sydney’s AMP building to raise money for the Sir David Martin Foundation. As an Ambassador for the foundation, Andrew made the abseil 8 times to help the less experienced adventures face their fears and achieve a major challenge. This event raised an astonishing $200,000 for the foundation.
In November he provided keynote presentations to the Scouts Australia South Australia branch Queens Scout 100 year anniversary dinner and Good Service Awards Day.
