Supporting the Community
Andrew has a long history of community involvement through fund raising and support of a range of community groups and aid foundations. He is proud to work with three key organisations, as:
Ambassador for the Sir David Martin Foundation, a non-profit organisation created in 1990 by the late Governor of NSW, Sir David Martin, who had a dream of "safety, hope and opportunity for all young Australians". The Foundation is run by a team of passionate staff and volunteers who raise money to fund programs that work to better the lives of youth in crisis www.sdmf.org.au
Ambassador for Scouts Australia, which encourages the development of young people so that they take a constructive place in society as a member of their local, national and international community. Andrew credits Scouts with first introducing him to the outdoors and equipping him with many valuable life skills that he has used both in his adventures and in normal life. Andrew hopes to encourage and motivate young Australians to challenge and develop themselves through responsible risk taking under the guidance of this long established international organisation. www.scouts.com.au
